Summer Intern at the Direct Custody and Clearing (DCC) team


Join Citi’s Direct Custody and Clearing team in the frame of a Summer Internship Program to have the opportunity to get to know the full range of custody services and to be able to work alongside experienced Product Managers. This is a 3-month talent program running between mid-June and mid-September 2019, and summer interns work full-time (40 hours/week) throughout the program.

Citi's Direct Custody and Clearing (DCC) team works closely with the local market infrastructures and stock exchanges, depositories and clearinghouses as well as with the stock markets, trading platforms and central counterparties to create a robust, efficient and competitive capital market infrastructure for tomorrow.

The team Citi's provides asset servicing and transaction functions primarily to intermediaries such as broker-dealers, banks, fund managers, insurance companies and other global investors through our proprietary network in over 60 markets.

During the 3-month internship period you will be given graduate level tasks that provide a unique opportunity to gain hands on knowledge on how the capital markets and Citi’s post trade services work.

Do not hesitate to apply if:

  • you are currently completing a BSc/MSc/PhD at a Hungarian higher education institution (with a valid Hungarian student ID card) in Economics, Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or similar
  • you have excellent verbal and written English
  • you have understanding of financial products (stock, bonds, derivatives) and interest in the world’s financial markets
  • you have excellent numerical and analytical skill
  • you have working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • you have strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
  • you are able to meet tight reporting deadlines
  • you are a team-player
